2020 has led us to deep reflection and rethinking of distribution strategy. – says Mario Piccini, CEO of Tenute Piccini. The Ho.Re.Ca. channel. experienced significant contractions, but we were able to reorganize quickly by boosting sales growth in large-scale retail and direct e-commerce, which experienced significant growth of about 300 percent during 2020. So we also focused on online for the Valentine’s Day holiday, at a time in history when it is difficult to move and affections are often far away. Costa Toscana Rosato is in fact our tribute to all those lovers who although far apart want to toast their bond but also to all those who wish to spend a special evening in their homes. Costa Toscana Rosato was born in Maremma, on the Piccini family’s Moraia estate. An elegant and intense wine with a soft pink color, the nose releases a complex bouquet in which notes of red fruit, white peach, ripe raspberries and orange peel emerge. In the mouth, the rosé reveals roundness and elegance, supported by excellent balance and fresh acidity that has mineral and marine reminiscences. A freshness and cleanliness of aromas that the screw cap helps preserve.
A blend of Sangiovese and Syrah, Costa Toscana Rosato is an organic wine, produced through a sustainable process that respects the vine and the environment in which it grows.
