Piccini 1882 has opened a new winery in Casole d’Elsa, with modern facilities and a focus on sustainability. The company promotes an integrated supply chain model, supporting local winemakers. With new organic product lines, such as “Costa Toscana” and “Solco Leggero Appassimento,” Piccini 1882 combines tradition and innovation. Piccini 1882’s new headquarters, located in Casole d’Elsa, houses the winery within a 17,000-square-foot building. The facility has three bottling lines, equipped with the latest technology, such as innovative sensors designed to detect irregularities in production management. Looking ahead to 2021, Piccini 1882 planned to strengthen controls by introducing an inspector and sophisticated verification systems to ensure product suitability. The Casole plant has also significantly improved production efficiency by centralizing logistics and warehousing, thus ensuring more organized and immediate cooperation between departments. In addition, the company constantly monitors water flow, taking measures to reduce waste, including the introduction of a water recovery system. Piccini 1882’s commitment to sustainability is not only about the environment, but also involves socio-economic factors. The Tuscan winery promotes the value of the supply chain as a heritage to be protected and sustained. Fundamental for the company is the involvement of all the actors that contribute to the production of wine, dialoguing with each of them to pursue a common goal: to tell the exceptional quality of the Italian wine scene.

A clear example is the financial and productive collaboration with winemakers in the San Gimignano and Chianti Classico areas, historically linked to the Geographic Association. Attention to detail and care in enhancing the value of the supply chain guarantee an authentic recovery of ancient traditions and, above all, the protection and support of the local territory, in which Piccini 1882 proudly has its roots. Innovation and new trends Piccini 1882 has always carefully followed the latest trends and tastes of its customers. In order to respond to new market demands, the company is constantly creating new products that blend tradition, precision and winemaking innovation. From this continuous research comes the “Tuscan Coast” line, which tells the story of the encounter between the boundless beauty of Tuscany and the immensity of the sea. The organic wines of the “Tuscan Coast” line encapsulate the most intimate essence of the region, preserving the unconditional dedication that the Piccini family has reserved for wine for five generations.

The line was also successfully launched on the online market, achieving excellent results. In addition to the “Costa Toscana” line, Piccini 1882 has created another authentic expression of the Tuscan territory: “Solco Leggero Appassimento.” This wine rediscovers ancient winemaking traditions, offering the classic method of light appassimento, which gives the wine a vigorous body and a silky tannic texture. New impetus to communication In recent years, Piccini 1882 has given new impetus to its communication, promoting a proactive and transparent model capable of establishing a relationship of mutual trust between the company and its stakeholders. Recently, the company has also boosted internal communication, launching a monthly magazine, the “Piccini 1882 Ambassador,” with the aim of keeping employees, partners and customers informed about the company’s situation. This project is part of the significant rebranding program undertaken by the winery earlier this year. The holding company’s rebranding process completes the strategic repositioning of the company, initiated by the Piccini family with the intention of further optimizing and enhancing the multiple activities of the individual estates and future projects.
