Piccini 1882

Telling the excellence of wines and their terroir.

INTRAPRENDENCE AND AUDACY in the service of the earth.

“Generazione Vigneti” was created to unite all the Piccini family estates under a single, distinctive name. Over the years, this historic Tuscan family has invested in Italy’s most celebrated wine regions, always guided by the principle “one grape variety – one territory,” the very foundation of Generazione Vigneti.
Today, the fifth generation — Ginevra, Benedetta, and Michelangelo Piccini — leads the way, alongside winemakers Alessandro Barabesi and Pasquale Presutto. Their fresh, dynamic vision builds on a deep connection to the land, embracing innovation and making bold experimentation a defining hallmark of their journey.

The Promised Land of Sangiovese

Chianti Classico

Nestled in the rolling hills of Castelnuovo Berardenga, Fattoria di Valiano covers a total of 230 hectares, with 78 hectares dedicated to organic vineyards, most of which enjoy an ideal south-west exposure. The combination of soil composition and altitude creates the perfect conditions for thriving, vigorous vines.

“Our philosophy,” explains the Technical Director Pasquale Presutto, “can be summed up in one simple principle: protecting the environment is essential to crafting refined, elegant wines. In recent years, we have converted all our vineyards to organic farming, with a constant commitment to advancing eco-sustainability. That’s why we’ve introduced Icaro, an autonomous robot that uses UV-C light to protect the vines from fungal diseases, entirely eliminating the need for pesticides.”

The pearl of the Maremma

Gently caressed by sea breezes, Tenuta Moraia lies in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, close to the ancient village of Gavorrano. Here, the influence of the nearby Gulf of Follonica blends with the rolling hills and generous sunshine, shaping a landscape of rare beauty.
The estate spans 160 hectares, 60 of which are organically cultivated.

Cool sea currents and abundant rainfall temper the region’s typically dry climate, moderating temperatures and creating a true hidden gem. These exceptional conditions, unique in Maremma region, ensure slow, consistent ripening in a setting of rich biodiversity and flourishing nature.

From these vineyards are born contemporary, vibrant wines, brimming with the authentic soul of their homeland — the Maremma.

In the temple of Italian enology

Montalcino

Bathed in the Tuscan sun, Villa al Cortile stretches along the southern slopes of Montalcino, the birthplace of a Brunello that captures the very soul of its land in every drop. The estate’s vineyards span 5 hectares, planted in some of the most prized locations within the appellation.

Two hectares lie in the valley between Torrenieri and Cerretalto, at an elevation of 220 meters, where a mosaic of sand and clay soils yields deep, refined wines, where freshness and elegance intertwine with effortless grace. On the slopes of Torrenieri, at 270 meters, another two hectares thrive in limestone-clay soils, producing wines of remarkable structure and complexity.

The final hectare rises to 370 meters, overlooking Monte Amiata — an ancient volcano whose mineral richness has shaped these lands over the centuries. Here, Sangiovese flourishes with vigor and vibrancy, delivering wines of striking power and profound depth.

Soul of the South

VULTURE

The ancient volcano towers over the plateau, watching over the valleys below and blessing them with a terroir so exceptional that this area stands alone in the entire Mediterranean basin.

From Regio Cantina’s vineyards comes the exquisite Aglianico del Vulture, one of the finest expressions of Italian winemaking excellence.

This small patch of land, home to the Lucanian appellation, perfectly embodies the company’s philosophy: celebrating the profound connection between a single grape variety and its native territory.

The roar of the volcano

ETNA

Set along the slopes of Mount Etna, Torre Mora’s vineyards embody the volcanic soul of the land, channeling the vibrant energy of this extraordinary terroir.
The area surrounding Etna is a world apart, where the lava-rich soils, high-altitude vineyards, and dramatic temperature shifts between day and night come together to create an exceptional microclimate — the perfect foundation for crafting wines of unmistakable character and quality.

The undisputed star here is Nerello Mascalese, joined by Nerello Cappuccio in producing the acclaimed Etna Rosso DOC. Carricante, a white grape variety, plays a leading role in Etna Bianco DOC, delivering freshness and finesse. Softness and elegance are woven into every bottle, giving voice to the volcano’s wild spirit with wines that are both vibrant and complex.

The rugged, unforgiving landscape demands heroic viticulture, where man and nature work hand in hand to create wines that speak the ancient dialect of this singular island.
