WHISTLEBLOWING REPORTING SYSTEM
Tenute Piccini Spa cares deeply about corporate ethics and is committed to preventing the commission of corporate offenses within the company. For this reason, it has complied with the provisions of Legislative Decree No. 24/2023 by establishing specific digital and analog channels that allow anyone who has a legal relationship with the company to submit confidential reports regarding violations covered by the decree.
Reports are received and processed in accordance with the Regulation adopted by the Whistleblowing Manager, which can be consulted online in the section “Regulation” and in paper form on the company notice boards.
Reports can be submitted in three ways: 1. By using the encrypted platform accessible via the button ‘submit an internal report’. The platform, managed by a third-party provider, ensures the confidentiality of personal data, the identity of the whistleblower, and the content of the reports, except where disclosure is required by law. Attached are the security measures, privacy notices, and user manual related to the platform. 2. By using the paper form available for download here and on company notice boards, in accordance with Article 10 of the Regulation. 3. By making an oral report, in accordance with Article 11 of the Regulation.
Submitting a confidential report under the “whistleblowing” framework guarantees the whistleblower the confidentiality of their identity and access to the protections provided in case of retaliation under Legislative Decree No. 24/2023, as specified in the Regulation.
These benefits do not apply to “ordinary reports” (i.e., those not covered by the “whistleblowing” framework). Therefore, whistleblowers are invited to explicitly specify that their report is made under the whistleblowing framework, in order to maintain confidentiality and access the protections against retaliation. On the platform, this preference can be indicated in the “notes” section.
All reports received will be reviewed by the Whistleblowing Manager, an external professional who is autonomous, independent, and specifically trained in the field. His résumé can be consulted here.
Where the conditions set out in Article 18 of the Regulation are met, a report may be submitted to ANAC using the button ‘submit an external report’.
All members of the Company are strictly prohibited from adopting retaliatory or discriminatory measures against a whistleblower for reasons directly or indirectly related to the submitted report.
The Company will impose disciplinary sanctions on anyone who knowingly or with gross negligence submits false or unfounded reports with the intent to harm the reputation of individuals unjustly accused.
