  • Papaleto
    Piccini Wines

    Papaleto

    Tuscany Igt

Angiolo Piccini’s father was a great fan of theater, especially Shakespeare’s plays. Whenever they gave a play by the English bard at the theater, he never missed an opportunity to attend. In his family, they then began affectionately calling him “Hamlet,” after the famous Shakespearean character he was in love with. But the word proved hostile to little Angiolo, who sweetly called him “Papa Leto.” From this tender epithet, Papaleto was born, reminiscent of our progenitor’s father, recalling that family air that is still the company mantra today.

  • Pècchero

    Pècchero

    Tuscany Igt

Grandfather’s words impressed themselves on the boy’s heart, guiding his steps. Years later, the young Michelangelo embarked on a long oenological journey that led him, with technique and tenacity, to the creation of Pècchero, a love poem dedicated to Cabernet Franc that traces the exuberant soul of its creator.

In the space of a moment, Pierangiolo’s instincts anticipate agronomic calculations, scanning horizons that only an artist can imagine.
